Putin and Xi Jinping to Sign Declaration on Multipolar World

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping are expected to adopt a joint declaration on the formation of a new international order and a multipolar world during their meeting in Beijing.
This was announced by Yuri Ushakov, the Russian presidential aide for international affairs. He stated that the two leaders will also sign a joint statement aimed at further strengthening strategic partnership and deepening ties of good-neighborliness, friendship, and cooperation.
Ushakov emphasized that the document being prepared is a comprehensive programmatic declaration consisting of 47 pages. It is expected to reflect the views of Russia and China on international cooperation, global security, new types of interstate relations, and a multipolar world order.
This declaration is being adopted at a time when political dialogue between Moscow and Beijing is becoming increasingly active. The document is viewed as an important political signal demonstrating the two countries' common approach to global processes.
