Mercedes-Benz is preparing a new design for its all-electric C-Class. The prototype was spotted during winter testing, showcasing significant changes compared to both the gasoline version and earlier prototypes.
The company has shifted from the EQ design to a more traditional look to better align with customer preferences. Mercedes-Benz CEO Ola Källenius confirmed the debut of the all-electric C-Class and its SUV sibling, the GLC, is planned for 2026.
Changes include updated headlights, a redesigned hood line, and a new grille. The prototype also features pre-production taillights and wheel designs.
The C-Class will feature an expanded Hyperscreen with a 56-inch display and no physical buttons.
Mercedes-Benz has revised its EV strategy following challenges in the market. BMW’s approach, blending electric and traditional designs, proved successful with 50,981 EVs sold in the U.S. and over 425,000 globally in 2024. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
