One-Year Wait for Hyundai’s 1000 km Hybrid SUV
At the end of 2024, Hyundai introduced the new generation of its Palisade crossover. The vehicle went on sale in South Korea in early 2025, and some versions immediately became scarce.

According to Korean media, the hybrid version with a 1000 km range, which has not yet entered production, is now nearly unavailable for pre-order. Those who managed to place an order recently will have to wait over a year for delivery.

Meanwhile, standard gasoline versions of the Palisade have a much shorter waiting time of 3-4 months.

Demand for the new Palisade is so high that even a significant price increase has not deterred buyers. The hybrid SUV is now 10 million won (around $7,500) more expensive than its predecessor, while the gasoline version has increased by 6 million won (approximately $4,500).

Additionally, the new Hyundai Palisade recently became available for Russian customers through parallel importers. Prices vary widely, starting at 7 million rubles and reaching up to 11.5 million rubles for the highest trims.
