From April 24, the possibility of submitting an online application for registering a new vehicle via my.gov.uz has been launched in Tashkent on a trial basis. This was reported by the press service of the Unified Interactive Public Services Portal (UIPS).

It is noted that so far this opportunity is being tested at the Fayzabad Registration and Examination Department (RO and IO) in Tashkent. If the test is successful, the system is planned to be introduced first throughout Tashkent, and then in other regions.

When applying through my.gov.uz, the applicant determines in which form the service will be provided:

1. Registration by the applicant at the Department of Road Traffic and Traffic Safety;
2. Mobile service - the Traffic Safety Service employee himself comes to the specified address (for an additional fee).

The application is considered within 2 business days. When providing services at the address, the citizen receives a notification about this (the Traffic Safety Service employee will first contact the applicant).

When visiting in person, after paying, the application number must be indicated in the "Fayzabad" department. The Traffic Safety Service inspector will inspect the vehicle and issue a state license plate and registration certificate.

Registration fee:
- registration: 6.84 times the MRP (2.56 million soums), for electric vehicles, motorcycles and trailers - 1.5 MRP (562.5 thousand soums);

- re-registration — 0.1 BHM (37.5 thousand soums);
- state number - 3.5 BHM (1.31 million soums);
- technical passport — 0.7 BHM (262.5 thousand soums);
- technical inspection — 0.1 BHM (37.5 thousand soums).

Registration of gasoline cars - 4.17 million soums, electric cars and hybrids - 2.17 million soums.

The cost of on-site service depends on the duration: arrival in one day — 4 BHM (1.5 million soums), in three days — 3 BHM (1.125 million soums), in five days — 2 BHM (750 thousand).

If the distance exceeds 10 km, an additional 0.05 BHM (18,750 soums) will be charged per km.
