In the process of using motor vehicles to provide additional convenience and ease for the population, according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to create additional convenience for the population when using motor vehicles,” certain rules have been established.
For individuals who own light motor vehicles up to 10 years old, passing a technical inspection is voluntary. This means that the owners of such vehicles can undergo a technical check at their own discretion, that is, it is not mandatory.
However, as a rule, light motor vehicles produced 11 to 14 years ago are subject to mandatory technical inspection, and they must undergo inspection every two years. This allows monitoring of the vehicle's condition, traffic safety, and the functioning of the engine and transmission systems.
Light motor vehicles produced 15 years ago or older require the greatest precautionary measures. They must undergo mandatory technical inspection once a year. This is important for maintaining vehicle stability, ensuring road safety, and protecting the health of passengers and the driver.
