General Motors has presented the new generation Chevrolet Bolt electric car. Although it has retained its exterior appearance, it has received significant technical upgrades, according to the ixbt.com website.
Externally, the Bolt resembles the previous model: the black panel between the headlights has been changed, and the rear lights and bumper have been redesigned.
The main changes are in the technical part — now the Bolt is built on the modern Ultium platform and equipped with a 65 kWh LFP (lithium-iron-phosphate) battery. The energy reserve has increased up to 410 km (according to the EPA cycle).
With the new 150 kW fast charging system, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in 26 minutes — three times faster than before.
The electric motor power is 210 horsepower, and it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds. The model is equipped with an NACS port compatible with the Tesla Supercharger network.
Additionally, the Bolt supports GM Energy's V2H technology and has a 9.6 kW electric output capacity to power a home or other devices.
The starting price of the car is about $29,000 (approximately 364 million soums).
