Mercedes-Maybach GLS Rival: Huawei Unveils Updated Aito M9 Crossover

On May 27, Huawei held the official premiere of its flagship crossover, the updated Aito M9. The vehicle features over 140 innovative upgrades compared to its predecessor, with significantly expanded dimensions and intelligent systems. The new model starts at 479,800 yuan for the Max+ base version, reaching up to 649,800 yuan (approx. $90,000) for the ultra-luxurious Ultimate Extended Edition. This is reported by Ixbt.com news.
The car stands out with its chrome radiator grille and smart optics capable of projecting images and movies while parked. The crossover's aerodynamic drag coefficient has been reduced to 0.249, and the doors now open up to 77 degrees. The Ultimate trim features a length of 5402 mm and a 3236 mm wheelbase, equipped with an exclusive black-and-gold body finish and electric side steps.
The interior features three large screens powered by the HarmonyOS Cockpit 4.0 system (including two 17.2-inch 3.4K displays) and an augmented reality (AR) projection. Passengers enjoy a 32-inch laser TV, a 7.1-liter refrigerator, and a 2920-watt Huawei Sound Ultimate audio system with 43 speakers. The seats are equipped with massage functions and a special graphene system for foot heating.
Technically, the Aito M9 is built on an 800-volt platform with 903 horsepower and a range of up to 1400 km. Vehicle safety is ensured by the HUAWEI Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 5 system, consisting of 6 lidars, 5 4D radars, and 11 cameras. The air suspension and Huawei DATS 3.0S electronic system scan the road surface to automatically adjust ride comfort.
