"Squid Game 2" becomes the most watched TV series in the world in 2024

According to the international company Nielsen, which is engaged in calculating the audience of television, radio, cinema and other media, the dystopian series was watched for more than 4 billion minutes between December 23 and 29. That is, the viewers spent nine years watching it in one week.

While Squidward Tentacles 2 has more than twice the viewing time of its competitors, seven other projects have been watched for more than a billion minutes between December 23 and 29: the film Red has been watched for almost 2 billion minutes, and the thriller Handload has been watched for 1.5 billion minutes.
