The famous Japanese singer and musician Mashu Komazaki has been appointed "Ambassador of Uzbek Culture".
This project was implemented by the Embassy of the country in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan in order to further expand cultural ties between Uzbekistan and Japan and widely promote the rich cultural heritage of the country, in particular its national music and melodies, in the neighboring country.
The Embassy of the country held a solemn event dedicated to the appointment of Mashu Komazaki as the "Ambassador of Uzbek Culture" in Japan. At the event, Ambassador Muhsinkhodja Abdurakhmanov solemnly presented Komazaki Mashu with the "Ambassador of Uzbek Culture" badge and certificate for his worthy contribution to the development of cultural and educational relations between Uzbekistan and Japan, as well as to familiarizing the Japanese public with the rich historical and cultural heritage of our country.
The Ambassador noted that the status of "Ambassador of Uzbek Culture" was the first to be awarded to a Japanese citizen, which is certainly a confirmation of the high attention paid by the government of Uzbekistan to the development of cultural relations with Japan. It was noted that this high status will open up broad opportunities for Komazaki Mashu to further promote the culture and art of Uzbekistan in Japan.
Mashu Komazaki expressed his immense happiness that he was the first foreign citizen to receive such an honorable status and expressed gratitude to the government of Uzbekistan for the high trust.
