“Anora” triumphs at the 97th Academy Awards

The 97th Academy Awards took place in Los Angeles, with “Anora”, directed by Sean Baker, winning Best Picture, reports ew.com.

The film won five awards. Sean Baker was awarded Best Director and Best Original Screenplay. Mikey Madison, who played the lead role, won Best Actress. “Anora” also won for Best Editing.

Best Supporting Actress – Zoe Saldana (“Emilia Perez”)
Best Supporting Actor – Kieran Culkin (“The Real Pain”)

Best Visual Effects – “Dune: Part Two”
