First released on Netflix in 2021, the series “Squid Game” is one of the South Korean projects that has caused a stir around the world. Directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, this project sheds light on social inequality in society, life-and-death decisions, and the relationship between people and money in a unique way.

According to the plot of the series, hundreds of people who have fallen into a financial crisis participate in a mysterious game to win a large prize. Although it is based on simple childhood games, the losers are sentenced to death. At each stage, the participants test not only their skills, but also the limits of humanity.

Today we will tell you about several mistakes that caught the attention of viewers in the series “Squid Game”.

Umbrella

There is a mistake related to the umbrella in the game “Dalgona cookies” (a favorite children's dessert made from melted sugar).

Before the start of the second game, participants will have to choose one of the shapes: a circle, a triangle, a star, and an umbrella. According to the terms of the task, players will have to use a needle to separate the given shape from the dessert without breaking it. They are given 10 minutes to do this. The main character, Song Gi-Hoon, gets the most difficult shape - an umbrella.

Initially, the image of the umbrella on the wall has curved contours. In subsequent frames, its image changes to a smooth umbrella.

Smartphone

In the ninth episode of the first season, there is an interesting detail related to Song Ki-hoon's phone. When the hero makes a call, it can be seen that he speaks on different smartphones. First, he speaks on the Samsung Galaxy S7 in the subway, and at the airport he holds a Samsung Galaxy S3 in his hand. Both smartphones are distinguished by their back panel, shape and camera placement.

A cameraman caught in the frame

However, in the second season of the series “Squid Game”, one of the cameramen was caught in the fight scene. This mistake did not go unnoticed by the audience.

In the seventh episode of the second season, a man filming the scene where armed participants in the game shoot at the organizers was caught on camera. This episode takes place on the playground. The fight scene is usually filmed with several cameras, so the directors lost sight of one of the operators.

Empty spoon

In the third episode of the first season, at the 16th minute, the main character complains that the food is cold.

“They could have at least warmed up the rice,” the hero says.
Then, continuing his conversation, the actor begins to eat. If you look closely at this shot, you can see that the participants of the game are bringing an empty spoon to their mouths. This is not very noticeable in the photo, but it is clearly visible when watching the episode.
