One of Turkey’s most talked-about young actors in recent years, Mert Ramazan Demir, was born on January 28, 1998, in the Şile district of Istanbul. He is the youngest of six children in a family originally from Van. His father is a businessman, and his mother is a homemaker.
Although interested in art since childhood, Demir developed a serious passion for acting later on. He studied at the Dialog Speech Communication center and Michelle Danner Acting Studio, making his first performances in school theatre productions.
In 2019, he landed his first leading role in the film “I Am You.” He later appeared in various TV productions in supporting roles, honing his craft. His breakthrough came with the romantic drama “Yalı Çapkını” (2022–2025), in which he portrayed Ferit Korhan.
In 2020, Demir played Ateş in the TV series “Öğretmen,” cementing his status as one of the most promising stars in Turkish television today.
