The «Blade Runner» series will premiere in 2026

Deadline and other Hollywood outlets report this. Initially, it was expected that the series «Blade Runner 2099» would premiere in 2025, but its release was postponed due to the 2022–23 writers’ strike.

The main roles in the show will be played by Michelle Yeoh («Everything Everywhere All at Once») and Hunter Schafer («Euphoria») — filming of the series has already been completed, and the project is now in post-production.

It is reported that aesthetically, the series «Blade Runner 2099» will be closer to Ridley Scott’s original film.
