“The Thursday Murder Club” (August 28, Netflix)

“The Roses” (August 29)
Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman star in this comedy by Jay Roach, adapted from the novel “The War of the Roses.” The film tells the story of a married couple whose seemingly perfect life begins to unravel when the husband’s career suddenly collapses.
“The Lost Bus” (September 19)
Starring Matthew McConaughey and America Ferrera, this survival thriller follows a bus driver and a schoolteacher trying to save children from a raging forest fire.
“One Battle at a Time” (September 26)
Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson from his own script, the film centers on a group of former revolutionaries forced to unite to save one of their daughters. The star-studded cast includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Alana Haim, and more. It is considered one of the year’s most significant releases.
