Netflix will present the next, fourth season of the popular series “The Witcher” in October this year, reports Redanian Intelligence. Filming was completed a year ago, and post-production work has been carried out until now.
In the new season, Liam Hemsworth will appear for the first time in the role of Geralt. The series will consist of 8 episodes, all of which will be released in one day. Netflix previously tested this method in Season 3 and continues to use it in major projects such as “Stranger Things” and “Wednesday.”
In addition, a spin-off originally titled “The Rats: Witcher’s Tale” is expected to be released by the end of this year as a full-length film, although the exact date has not yet been determined.
The actor replacement is one of the most discussed topics among fans. For three seasons, the main character was portrayed by Henry Cavill, who left the project. The reasons include his commitments to other projects, as well as creative disagreements about the character’s interpretation.
