
One of the creators of the world-famous Call of Duty game series, 55-year-old Vince Zampella, died in a horrific car accident in California.
The tragedy reportedly occurred on December 21st in the San Gabriel Mountains. A red Ferrari driven by Zampella emerged from the tunnel at high speed, crashed into a concrete barrier, and the car caught fire. The passenger in the car also died in the hospital.
Vince Zampella is known as a person who left a huge mark in the field of video games. She was a co-founder of the studio Infinity Ward, as well as the head of Respawn Entertainment. It was under his leadership that the most popular episodes of the Call of Duty series, including Modern Warfare, were created. To date, these games have sold more than 500 million copies worldwide.

He also worked at EA Games, participating in such popular projects as Battlefield, Medal of Honor, and Titanfall.
