Famous Turkish singer Yildiz Tilbe has launched a major charity campaign in Gaza and other crisis-affected areas. During the month of Ramadan, she prepares iftar every day for 12,000 people suffering from hunger due to armed conflicts in Gaza.
It is reported that Tilbe delivers hot meals to the needy through non-governmental organizations and has already completed the funding for the iftar events.
The singer does not limit herself to one region and, under the slogan “Every home should have hot food!”, provides assistance to needy people across a wide geographical area. Aid is planned to be delivered to Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, East Turkestan (China’s Xinjiang province), Ethiopia, South Sudan, Arakan, and Kashmir.
The organizational part of the Ramadan iftar is carried out by the Quddus Volunteers Association on behalf of Tilbe.
