Honoured Artist of Uzbekistan Ra’no Yarasheva said in an interview with the Navo television channel that she devoted her life and all her strength to her children, but at the same time she cannot distance herself from the stage and the theatre.
According to her, her children deeply understand their mother’s efforts and always acknowledge them:
— “My children often call me ‘my dear mother, my priceless one’. They know well that I devoted my life, my strength and my energy exactly to them. They say: ‘You worked so hard for us, mother. You educated us, married us off. Our life is beautiful. Now do not work, do nothing, live and enjoy your life.’ But I answer them: ‘How can that be? Can I really leave the theatre?’” — the actress says.
Ra’no Yarasheva emphasizes that the stage and meetings with the audience have a special place in her life:
— “If I do not meet with my people, I cannot gain strength. We, creative people, receive energy only from the people’s prayers, applause and sincere ovations. It is this love that gives us spirit and inspiration to continue creating,” she said.
In the actress’s opinion, responsibility in raising children and devotion to the stage are the two most important values in her life that complement each other.
