Currency rates updated for April 17

Uzbekistan expects a rise in the US dollar and euro exchange rates, nova24.uz reported. The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has released updated rates for April 17.

According to official data, all major foreign currencies appreciated except for the Russian ruble and Kazakh tenge:

• USD — 12,994.59 UZS (+13.70)
• EUR — 14,761.85 UZS (+38.92)
• RUB — 157.68 UZS (-0.99)

As of April 16, commercial bank exchange rates for the dollar were:

• Infinbank: sell — 13,045 UZS
• O‘zsanoatqurilishbank: sell — 13,045 UZS
• KDB Bank Uzbekistan: sell — 13,045 UZS
• Ipoteka Bank: sell — 13,055 UZS
