The “Pirali” gold deposit, located in Navoi region, was purchased at auction for 99.09 billion soums. The deposit’s reserves are estimated at 2.4 tons of gold.
During the bidding process, NBK 111 company became the winner, acquiring the site at a price 24 times higher than the starting point of 4.1 billion soums.
The total area of the “Pirali” deposit is 484 hectares.
According to reports, 40% of NBK 111 belongs to Chinese citizen Zhang Qian, while the remaining 60% is owned by entrepreneur Nurmukhammad Pulatov.
