
The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has announced new exchange rates for foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum effective from November 21, 2025, according to the Central Bank. Based on the updated rates, the US dollar and Russian ruble have appreciated, while the euro and other major currencies have depreciated.
The exchange rates set by the Central Bank are as follows:
• The US dollar increased by 3.74 soums and is now valued at 11,914.67 soums;
• The euro decreased by 49.29 soums and is set at 13,735.23 soums;
• The Russian ruble rose by 0.78 soums to reach 148.27 soums;
• The British pound decreased by 51.09 soums and is now 15,584.39 soums;
• The Chinese yuan saw a slight decrease (-0.56) and is now set at 1,674.58 soums.
In addition, a decline in the exchange rates of the Japanese yen and Swiss franc has also been observed.
