The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has established new values for foreign currencies against the Uzbek sum. According to the updated data, a decrease is being observed in most major foreign currencies.
Specifically, the US Dollar exchange rate has fallen, standing at 12,179.81 sum. This currency decreased by 30.05 sum compared to the previous record. Similarly, the Euro rate dropped by 31.22 sum to 14,139.54 sum, and the Russian Ruble fell by 0.8 sum to 156.73 sum.
However, an upward trend was recorded for some currencies. The British Pound rate increased by 35.55 sum, reaching 16,273.44 sum. The Swiss Franc strengthened by 11.22 sum, recorded at 15,547.37 sum.
Among other currencies, the Chinese Yuan was recorded at 1,762.79 sum and the Japanese Yen at 77.48 sum. These changes will take effect from March 5, 2026.
