If in 1990 13.1 million people died from cardiovascular diseases, then by 2023 this figure reached 19.2 million. According to the data, in most regions, the mortality rate of men is higher than that of women.
The DALY indicator for cardiovascular diseases is the most influential factor in the loss of healthy years of life. The main reason for this is premature death or disability.
Experts emphasize that these diseases can be prevented. Obesity, high blood pressure, elevated sugar and cholesterol levels are the main risk factors.
Proper nutrition, physical activity, and regular medical check-ups significantly reduce the likelihood of developing cardiovascular diseases.
