On February 18, upon returning to Tashkent from Kuwait, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Turkic States Organization, a well-known politician, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Binali Yildirim, who arrived in our country to participate in international events in the field of urban planning.
At the beginning of the meeting, the high-ranking guest conveyed the greetings and best wishes of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the head of our state.

Taking into account the increasing role and active participation of the Council of Elders in coordinating and promoting multilateral cooperation, issues of further expanding multilateral cooperation within the organization were considered.
It was emphasized that it is important to expand practical partnership and intensify contacts in order to implement the programs and initiatives adopted as a result of the summits of the Organization of Turkic States.
Issues of preparing for and holding upcoming events within the framework of the TSO were considered.
It should be noted that the Council of Elders is a permanent advisory body under the Organization of Turkic States.
The Turkish World Urban Planning Congress is organized by the Association of Engineers and Architects, which was established in 2002 in Ankara. The administrations of the cities of Samarkand and Navoi take an active part in the activities of the association. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
