The 2025 Navruz national holiday will be widely celebrated in our country in the form of national celebrations at a high level based on the main idea: "May your values be eternal, Navruz!" A corresponding resolution of the President has been adopted in this regard.
According to the document, the composition of the organizing committee chaired by the Prime Minister for the preparation and holding of the Navruz national holiday will be approved.
The organizing committee will approve the program of organizational, practical, cultural, spiritual and promotional activities for the worthy celebration of the Navruz national holiday, developed on the basis of the Concept, in Tashkent city, the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regional centers, all cities and districts, villages and auls, and will also ensure its implementation.
It was noted that, taking into account that this year's Navruz holiday is celebrated during the holy month of Ramadan, it was decided to fully honor the elderly, in particular, participants of the Second World War and veterans of the labor front, to check on the condition of people living in the "Mehribonlik", "Sahovat" and "Muruvvat" houses, people included in social protection books and in need of assistance, to prepare a festive table for them, and to hold various charity events.
Also, a special program will be organized in the "Yangi Uzbekistan" complex in Tashkent.
It was determined that the costs of the festive events will be covered:
- in Tashkent - in equal shares from the republican budget and the local budget of Tashkent;
- in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regions - from the relevant local budgets and sponsorship donations. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
