New appointments have been made in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan. By presidential decree, Colonel Ayubkhon Toshkhodjayevich Rahmatullayev was appointed First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.
Rahmatullayev has been working as the head of the Andijan regional MIA since March 2021. He previously served as the deputy minister of internal affairs - head of the main department of finance and material and technical support.

Also, based on the presidential decree, Colonel Ulugbek Shuhratovich Toshkhodjayev was appointed Head of the Migration and Personalization Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Toshkhodjayev has been working as Director of the State Personalization Center under the Cabinet of Ministers since April 2021.
According to the MIA report dated March 11, these two appointments were announced at a meeting held at the ministry.
We would like to remind you that Major General Aziz Toshpulatov, who had been heading the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs, began work as Head of the MIA last week.
He replaced Polat Bobojonov, who had been serving as minister for 7.5 years. Bobojonov continues his work as deputy presidential adviser on personnel policy. His first deputy at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Shavkat Rahmonov, was also dismissed from his post.
The Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department is now headed by Colonel Ravshan Sultankhodjayev, the former head of the Khorezm Regional Internal Affairs Department.
