According to meteorologists, in the coming days, a sharp increase in air temperature will be observed in our country. In particular, on Sunday and Monday, the temperature in some regions may rise to +40 degrees. This is a very high indicator for the end of April, 12-16 degrees above normal.

According to experts, this abnormally hot air will first enter through the northern regions of our country, and then spread throughout the republic in the form of an anticyclone from Turkmenistan. This heat wave will have a particularly strong impact on densely populated regions. That is, very high temperatures are likely to be observed in regions such as Tashkent, Samarkand, Kashkadarya, Jizzakh, Surkhandarya.

Experts are taking this situation very seriously. Because after such extreme heat, the risk of drought in the main agricultural areas of the country increases significantly. Decreased precipitation and high temperature create a favorable environment for the breeding of harmful insects, especially grasshoppers. This is a serious threat to agriculture.

There is also a risk of floods in mountainous areas at the end of April. The possibility of flash floods is especially high in the afternoon. This situation can be observed first of all in the mountainous regions of Fergana Valley, Samarkand and Kashkadarya regions. The reason is that after a strong heat, the conditions of irrigation in the foothills change dramatically, and there is a high probability of sudden heavy precipitation.

According to meteorologists, a low-pressure area is formed in the atmosphere, which creates air currents moving from the bottom to the top. As a result, strong winds and lightning strikes are possible. Such conditions will be observed in the coming week, in particular on Tuesday, in the Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Navoi, Bukhara, Jizzakh, Samarkand and Kashkadarya regions.

There is a possibility of fires breaking out in desert areas due to strong winds and lightning. Experts recommend preparing for this situation in advance and strengthening safety measures.

According to analyzes, this abnormal heat will continue in early May. On May 3, a hot air stream with a temperature of +41 degrees is expected to enter our country from Turkmenistan.
