The number of trips of Uzbek tourists to the UAE has increased sharply: the Emirates are becoming one of the most favorite destinations for Uzbeks

The number of Uzbek citizens traveling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for tourism purposes has increased significantly in the first three months of 2025. According to the National Statistics Committee, 44.8 thousand Uzbeks visited the UAE in January-March of this year.

This figure is an increase of 6.3 thousand people or 16.2% compared to the same period last year. This indicates that the Emirates are becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination for Uzbeks.

The reasons for Uzbek tourists traveling to the UAE are diverse, with the majority of them, namely 39,172, traveling and relaxing. In addition, 5,024 citizens visited the Emirates to visit relatives, and 363 people went on business trips.

At the same time, the number of Uzbeks who went to the UAE for medical treatment amounted to 167, while the number of students who went to study amounted to 70.

According to experts, the UAE's high-quality service system, convenient and modern infrastructure, as well as the expansion of air connections with Uzbekistan, had a positive impact on the increase in the flow of tourists.
