A large fire broke out in Sergeli: the situation was eliminated under the supervision of the Minister

On May 14, a large fire broke out in the Sergeli district of Tashkent. According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, at 11:03 a.m. a report was received about a fire in a warehouse located on Nilufar Street in the Sergeli district.

In order to quickly respond to emergencies, 12 fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene at 11:05 a.m. and began extinguishing the fire.

The fire was brought under control in about an hour. More precisely, by 12:15 p.m. the fire was surrounded and completely extinguished by 1:31 p.m.

The fire extinguishing work at the scene was personally led by the Minister of Emergency Situations, Botir Kudratkhodjaev, and his first deputy, Sanjar Zuparov.

According to some reports, there were no reports of casualties or injuries as a result of the fire in the warehouse. At the moment, the relevant services are conducting an investigation into the causes of the fire and the total amount of damage caused.
