Social Media Message Lands Young Man in 5-Day Arrest

A 26-year-old man living in the Shofirkon district of Bukhara region committed illegal actions by repeatedly sending inappropriate, intrusive, and disturbing messages to an unfamiliar woman on social media.

It was revealed that the man regularly sent disturbing messages to the personal Telegram account of a woman born in 1987, residing in the Jondor district. Frustrated by this behavior, the woman turned to law enforcement authorities.

During the court hearing, the man's actions were classified as an administrative offense. As a result, he was sentenced to 5 days of administrative detention.

Legal experts emphasize that actions on social networks that infringe on the privacy of others or threaten their peace of mind carry legal responsibility.
