In Russia's Omsk region, a horrifying incident not only caused a public outcry but also raised frightening and distressing questions.
According to reports, on July 30, 2025, on one of the streets of Magistralny settlement in the city of Omsk, a 33-year-old man attacked a schoolgirl who was crossing the road.
The suspect has been identified, and it was revealed that he is a citizen of Uzbekistan. It is reported that he committed sexual assault against the girl, who did not have time to resist.
After the attack, the girl, trying to save herself, ran with all her strength and, despite her age and height, sought safety.
As a result, she was able to escape the immediate danger and reach her grandmother’s house. There, she quickly called for help and informed the adults about what had happened.
The incident was reported to the relevant law enforcement agencies, and the suspect was soon apprehended.
Currently, he has been placed in temporary detention, and an official investigation has been launched against him. However, it has not yet been disclosed under which article of the Criminal Code the case is being conducted.
According to available information, if the charges are confirmed, he faces 8 to 15 years of imprisonment.
It is suspected that the attack was not random. This calls for additional investigative actions.
The girl and her family are currently in a state of shock. It has been reported that specialists have been involved to provide psychological assistance.
