Mangal Fest brawl ends with 5 days in jail

In Tashkent, the public event — Mangal Fest festival — ended not with celebration, but with misunderstanding and mutual quarrel. The participants of the incident expressed regret over what happened.

According to available information, an unexpected conflict arose between six men during the festival. Initially, it was just a verbal dispute without a solution. However, the situation quickly escalated and turned into a fight, disrupting public order.

One of the participants later commented as follows:

"We were sitting with friends. Then a misunderstanding occurred, and it turned into a quarrel. Honestly, there was no particular reason, the situation just went in the wrong direction. We have no claims against each other, and no injuries either. We deeply regret what happened."

At the same time, law enforcement agencies did not remain indifferent to the situation. The administrative court assessed the actions of each participant within the framework of the law.

According to the court's decision, based on the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

  • Article 183 — petty hooliganism (indecent behavior in public places, disturbing peace),

  • and Part 1 of Article 194 — failure to comply with the lawful demands of internal affairs officers,

all six individuals were found guilty. Each of them was sentenced to 5 days of administrative arrest.

Such cases once again confirm how important it is to behave properly in public places, control one’s emotions, and communicate with respect.

Because a momentary emotion can lead to five days of deprivation of freedom. Only reasonable and vigilant citizens can turn public events into a true celebration.
