In Andijan region, a man who deceived two underage girls and took their gold earrings was sentenced by the court to five years in prison, reported Supreme Court spokesperson Aziz Abidov.
According to the information, the incident occurred on April 29 of this year in the village of “Ayrylsh.” According to the investigation, the accused man approached two five-year-old girls playing near his house and promised to buy them ice cream. The children agreed and got on his bicycle, after which the man took them 2–3 kilometers away from their home — to an unfamiliar place.
Fear, suspicion, and earrings
The man told the girls that a “spider was crawling on their ears” and, using this excuse to frighten them, removed their gold earrings and other jewelry. The total material damage amounted to more than 2 million soums.
The man was detained by law enforcement authorities and later expressed deep regret for his actions. In court, he stated that if someone did the same to his own daughter, he would never forgive it. He described himself as ashamed and full of remorse.
The court chose the path of justice
The court reviewed the case under Article 169 of the Criminal Code — “Theft.” As a result, the man was found guilty and sentenced to five years in prison.
Crimes involving children — serious consequences
Today, crimes committed against children are considered dangerous not only for the family but for society as a whole. Every parent must closely monitor who their child is with and where they are, and teach them to be cautious with strangers.
Such incidents once again highlight the need for vigilance and a serious approach to child safety in society.
