In the city of Tashkent, an unpleasant incident occurred that attracted public attention: three school students were detained for drawing graffiti on the walls of houses promoting prohibited substances. This was reported by the press service of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the information, the incident took place in the Yunusabad district. The teenagers stated that they did not know the true meaning of the image they were assigned. According to them, the task came via the internet, and they were offered an opportunity to earn extra income.
A “symbol” drawn without understanding its meaning
During the investigation, it was established that the teenagers had been tasked with painting a specific image on a wall, but no one explained to them that it was connected to narcotic substances. As a result, they became direct participants in illegal promotion.
One of the teenagers reported the task through his mother. According to her, due to a lack of interest in the children’s activities, they became involved in questionable matters.
Prevention and punishment
After the incident, law enforcement officers conducted a preventive conversation with the teenagers. The parents admitted their irresponsibility and promised to more strictly control their children’s communication and free time.
Administrative protocols were drawn up against the adults under Article 47 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (“Failure to fulfill duties of raising and educating children”). According to the law, they face a fine of up to 5 BRV — approximately 2 million soums.
Conclusion
This incident once again highlighted the danger of dubious “job offers” spread among young people via the internet. Organizing meaningful leisure for children and monitoring their online activity must be a priority for every parent.
