On August 19, a video of a fire that occurred in the Bukhara region spread on social media. The Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Emergency Situations provided an official explanation about the incident.
It was revealed that the fire started at 00:45 on the second floor of a two-story teahouse located in the Zarafshan neighborhood of Müstakillik Street in Bukhara city. Four firefighting teams and rescuers arrived at the scene. The firefighters began extinguishing the fire at 00:49, and the fire was localized at 00:53, completely extinguished by 01:50.
As a result of the fire, the roof of the teahouse was damaged over an area of about 100 m². There is currently no information about casualties. The damage to the lower floors and minor structures may be related to the fire. It is important for rescuers to thoroughly check each situation before making decisions and not rely solely on preliminary information.
Currently, an investigation is underway, and materials are being forwarded for further actions.
