On August 25, a tragic incident occurred in the Syrdarya region. At 14:49, on the road passing through the “Ziyokor” Mahalla of the Syrdarya district, a serious road traffic accident involving a Cobalt car occurred, resulting in a fire in the vehicle.
Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and fully extinguished the fire in 3 minutes at 15:03. However, as a result of the accident, the Cobalt driver died, and the car burned from the inside.
The causes of the incident are currently being clarified, but the possibility of traffic rule violations or technical malfunctions is being investigated. This event caused intense discussions among local residents and social media users.
Similar cases have occurred before. For instance, in the Yukari Chirchik district of Tashkent region, a large truck collided with a Cobalt car, resulting in one passenger being injured and the car also catching fire. Such incidents make the issue of driver and passenger safety even more pressing.
Experts emphasize the importance of strictly following traffic rules, regularly checking the technical condition of vehicles, and maintaining driver attention on the road. In addition, local authorities and the road transport service should strengthen safety awareness campaigns among the population.
