In Tashkent, the beginning of the new school year was remembered not with joy, but with a worrying incident. A video circulated on social networks showed that during the “First Bell” ceremony at School No. 30 in the Yashnabad district of the capital, one of the students fell into an irrigation ditch in the schoolyard.
According to the information, the incident occurred on September 1, and parents and teachers gathered at the event witnessed it. Although the incident did not lead to a major tragedy, it caused wide discussions on social networks.
It was reported that a working group of the city department of public education was created to study the details of the incident. They examined the circumstances and instructed the school administration to strengthen safety measures.
The school administration quickly installed an iron fence over the ditch to prevent children from facing such situations again. The UDSHO also gave an official explanation about this.
Experts emphasize that children’s safety must come first. Before any major event, all dangerous spots in the yard and buildings must be carefully checked. The public demands that such dangerous places in schools be eliminated in advance.
This incident once again showed the need to strengthen safety measures in educational institutions. Because the life and health of children are the highest priority.
