In the city of Tashkent, another crime shocked the public. In the Sergeli district, a 34-year-old woman stabbed her seven-year-old daughter to death. This was reported by the program “Millar”.
According to the information, the mother, in an unhealthy state, struck her daughter several times with a kitchen knife. The girl, who had been going to first grade for only one week, died at the scene from the severe injuries she received.
Mental illness and sad history
It became known that this woman had been registered at the Psychoneurological Dispensary since 2022 and had been receiving treatment there. At the beginning of August, she was allowed to continue treatment at home. It is also said that she had a son.
A criminal case was opened under Article 97 (“Intentional murder”) of the Criminal Code. The suspect was detained, and investigative actions are being carried out.
Previous crime — frightening incident in the zoo
It should be recalled that the same woman in January 2022 was the main figure in an incident that shook the entire country. At the Tashkent Zoo, she threw her little daughter into a bear cage.
Fortunately, the bear did not harm the child, and the zoo employees quickly managed to move the animal into an inner room. Doctors provided the girl with first aid and then took her to the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care. At that time, the girl was three years old and was placed in the intensive care unit.
Information about the mother
After the incident, a criminal case was opened against the woman under the article “Attempted intentional murder,” and she was sent for compulsory treatment in a psychiatric hospital.
According to the prosecutor’s office, since 2021 she had been registered at the dispensary of mental illnesses. In addition, the Department for the Support of Mahalla and Family stated that she worked as a teacher at a higher educational institution and was in the process of divorcing her husband.
Conclusion
The fate of the girl, closely followed by the entire country after the incident in the zoo, unfortunately, again turned into a tragedy. The news of the child killed by her mother broke the hearts of many.
The public has once again been shown the need to prevent such cases, to strictly monitor citizens suffering from mental illness, and to carefully check their health condition. This tragedy has become the grief not only of one family but of the entire society.
