The Ministry of Internal Affairs put forward a new initiative to strengthen penalties for those who violate driving rules. The main goal of this initiative is to ensure traffic safety and prevent serious road accidents.
If the driver commits the following violations 10 times within a month:
-Movement at a speed exceeding 40-60 km/h;
-passing without stopping at the red light;
-crossing into oncoming traffic or creating an emergency situation,
in this case, the driver is deprived of a driver's license for a period of 6 months. This measure is aimed at ensuring strict compliance with traffic rules and increasing road safety.
The Ministry believes that this new liability system will allow for the effective prosecution of drivers who neglect the rules of the system and will prevent serious accidents.
The discussion of the draft will last until September 25, and it is planned to be legally adopted in the future, taking into account the opinion of the population. Thus, the state is taking another step towards ensuring road safety and protecting the lives of the population.
