In Kokand city of Fergana region, a traffic accident was caused by a Nexia driver allegedly driving under the influence, the regional traffic police department reported.
According to the statement, the incident occurred around 8:00 PM on September 10 on Movarounnahr Street. A Nexia car collided with a parked truck on the roadside. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Medical examination confirmed that the Nexia driver was intoxicated at the time of the crash. Both vehicles were taken to the impound lot, and an initial investigation into the violation has been launched.
Authorities emphasized that such cases show drunk driving remains an ongoing issue. Law enforcement will take appropriate legal measures regarding the situation.
