An unusual incident that occurred in the Jizzakh region has been clarified. Earlier, it was reported that the school's primary school teacher, Gulbahor Samadova, heard on a cotton field the news that she had been awarded the state prize - the "Shuhrat" medal - by the Presidential Decree "On Awarding a Group of Distinguished Workers in the Education System in Connection with Teachers' and Mentors' Day," adopted on September 11.
This situation caused widespread public discussion. In this regard, the Department of Preschool and School Education of the Jizzakh region gave an official comment.
"If you look at the video to the end, it is clear that Gulbahor Samadova herself expressed the opinion that she participated in the harvest voluntarily, together with active women," the official statement said.
Also, during the investigation of the situation, it was reported that Gulbahor Samadova led a "hashar pilaf" to the cotton field. It was emphasized that this is precisely why it was found in the field.
