A person who kept rare falcons in the Tashkent region was fined

In the Chinaz district of the Tashkent region, a citizen was found to be illegally keeping falcons listed in the Red Book of Uzbekistan. According to the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, it will pay the damage caused to the animal world in the amount of 620 million 884 thousand soums as a fine.

As a result of the raid, it was revealed that one Sapsan and one Zhigaltay falcon, belonging to the species of wild birds listed in the Red Book, were illegally detained and kept in a cage with a fence.

The birds were seized from the offender and transferred to the Tashkent Zoo for temporary storage.

It is noted that the laws "On Hunting and Hunting Management," "On Protection and Use of the Animal World," and "On Environmental Protection" were violated. As a result, damage to wildlife amounted to 620 million 884 thousand soums.

All documents collected in connection with the case have been sent to the Prosecutor General's Office for a legal assessment of the situation and taking appropriate measures.
