In Andijan region, an incident occurred at night that shocked people. A young man, who was drunk and did not have a driver’s license, sat behind the wheel and collided with two cars at once, causing a major traffic accident. This was reported by the regional Traffic Safety Department press service.
According to the information, the incident happened on September 25 at about 23:20 at an intersection in the Balikchi district. A young man, born in 2004, was driving a Nexia 2 car without a driver’s license and in a state of alcohol intoxication. While moving along the Chinobod–Balikchi route, he failed to maintain a safe distance and crashed into “Cobalt” and “Nexia 3” cars that were stopped at the red light.
As a result of the accident, fortunately, no one was injured. However, all the vehicles received significant mechanical damage. This once again showed how serious the consequences of irresponsibility on the road can be.
Operational investigative actions have begun, and the responsible authorities reported that the driver’s condition and actions are being fully studied. According to the law, he will be subjected to a large fine.
Traffic Safety officials gave the following comment on this case: “Any person who drives without a license and in a state of intoxication puts not only his own life but also the lives of other people on the road in danger. Such violations are absolutely unforgivable mistakes.”
Experts emphasize that in order to prevent such cases, road control must be further strengthened and public legal awareness must be raised. It is especially important to explain to young people that “driving while intoxicated is not a game, but a crime.”
