In Olmalik, a teacher who wrote a "2" on students' foreheads was punished.

The incident at School No. 7, located in the city of Almalyk, Tashkent region, sparked public discussion. On September 21 of this year, reports spread on social networks that an English teacher gave "two" grades to the forehead and face of 3rd-grade students. This situation caused widespread discussion.

According to the regional Department of Preschool and School Education, a working group was quickly formed to investigate the situation. As a result of the inspections, the information disseminated on social networks was fully confirmed. It turned out that the teacher, in order to punish students who did not prepare for the lesson, wrote a "2" on their foreheads.

The department's statement notes that the teacher sincerely regretted this action and expressed remorse for what she had done. Taking into account his age and inexperience, a disciplinary measure of "reprimand" was applied to him. At the same time, explanatory work was carried out on the rules of pedagogical ethics.

Experts emphasize that such situations are considered unacceptable errors in the educational process. It was noted that the main task of teachers is not to mentally support children, but to shame them in front of the community.

Also, the regional education department sent additional instructions to all schools on respecting the student's personality and strictly observing the rules of pedagogical ethics.

As a reminder, the head of School No. 62 in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent was previously dismissed for insulting female teachers in front of first-graders. This situation was also sharply criticized by the public.
