In recent days, various reports have spread on social networks that scholarships are not being paid on time to students of some higher educational institutions. These reports caused questions and concerns among many students and their parents.
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation has issued an official statement regarding this situation, according to official sources. According to the ministry, senior students in all universities have received their scholarships on time.
At the same time, it was noted that the reports are mainly related to first-year students of some higher educational institutions, including the National University of Uzbekistan, the Institute of Arts and Culture, the Tashkent State Agrarian University, and the Samarkand State Medical University.
It was reported that the process of issuing relevant orders for the appointment of scholarships to these students and opening bank cards was slightly delayed. For this reason, payments were temporarily suspended.
The Ministry stated that this process is now on the verge of completion. "All necessary documents are being processed, and scholarships will be fully paid to students of all higher educational institutions by the end of this week," representatives of the organization noted.
The agency also asked students to be patient and understanding, adding that such delays are related to the technical and document management process.
The Ministry also noted that recently work has been carried out to improve digital payment systems in the education system and reduce bureaucratic delays. That is, a new automated system is expected to be implemented in the coming months to prevent such situations from recurring.
