In Samarkand, measures were taken against citizens who had previously occupied cemetery land

In some cemeteries in Samarkand, cases of premature seizure of premises by citizens have been identified. This was reported by the district administration.

According to reports, some individuals illegally marked land and erected fences at cemeteries in the "Hazora" and "Hunarmandlar" neighborhoods. Several complaints have been received from the population regarding this situation.

The district khokimiyat and relevant departments studied the appeals. Currently, illegal obstacles are being removed and legal order is being restored.

The khokimiyat emphasized that the cemetery belongs to the people, and no one can seize it as private property. This contradicts the principles of legality and humanism.

It is stated that additional information will be provided after the issue is fully resolved.
