Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum organized a falconry hunt in Navoi region, Uzbekistan.
According to reports, the prince’s Boeing 747 aircraft landed at Tashkent International Airport on October 11.
Soon after, Sheikh Hamdan shared photos on his Instagram page showing the falconry event in the Navoi region. The images, featuring falcons in action, drew great attention from his followers.
It is reported that about 50 kilometers from Navoi there is a falcon and houbara breeding center owned by the United Arab Emirates. The center was established in April 2008 on the initiative of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai and Vice President of the UAE.
Prince Hamdan traditionally visits this place every year for falconry. His current visit is also linked to the beginning of the hunting season.
Born in 1982, Sheikh Hamdan is known for his dynamic lifestyle — he enjoys skydiving, scuba diving, fishing, snowboarding, cycling, and many other extreme sports. He also writes poetry under the pen name “Fazza.”
This visit served not only as a traditional hunting trip but also as a symbolic gesture strengthening cultural ties between Uzbekistan and the UAE.
