Another traffic accident was recorded in the Andijan region. This time, the driver of a Nexia hit two minors, the press service of the regional Traffic Safety Department reported.
According to the information, the incident occurred on October 12 at approximately 2:30 p.m. on the road passing through the territory of the "Kurama" mahalla of the Andijan district. The driver of the Nexia-3 hit children N.Ya. and N.I., who were crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing.
As a result, a minor N.I. was diagnosed with a closed fracture of the left leg. As luck would have it, his companion N.Ya. escaped without injuries. Both children received medical attention, their condition is stable.
Traffic police officers arrived at the scene and began a preliminary investigation. The driver was questioned, and the causes of the incident are currently being investigated.
Local residents noted that the pedestrian crossing on this section of the road is not clearly marked and traffic is heavy. For this reason, similar phenomena have been recorded here before.
