The State Security Service officers, together with law enforcement agencies, conducted a special operation in Tashkent aimed at combating the illegal circulation of narcotic substances.
According to the information, the office of a preventive inspector of the Internal Affairs Department of Tashkent’s Olmazor district, who had been under surveillance, was searched. During the inspection, it was discovered that a full-fledged drug laboratory had been organized there.
As a result of the operation, a total of 10 kilograms and 500 grams of “Alpha-PVP” and 4 grams of “Spice” synthetic drugs were seized, along with 588 grams of liquid used to produce the substances, various equipment, and an electronic scale.
In addition, the inspector’s permanent residence in Tashkent region was also searched. In his yard, about 430 grams of “Alpha-PVP” buried underground were found.
According to the investigation, the police officer was connected to an illegal drug channel operating via the “Telegram” messenger. He allegedly received synthetic drugs smuggled into the country, prepared them in a secret laboratory, and distributed the deadly substance.
A criminal case has been opened against him under Articles 28,246 (Part 2) and 25,273 (Part 5) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are ongoing.
Moreover, another joint operation of the State Security Service’s Tashkent regional department and the Angren City Police Department stopped the activities of drug distributors.
A 25-year-old resident of Angren was caught red-handed while receiving 971 grams of the synthetic drug “Cathinone” from his accomplice. It was revealed that he had previously been convicted for drug-related crimes and planned to sell the substance through the “dead drop” method for profit.
Criminal cases have been initiated in both instances. According to the law, the suspects could face more than 10 years of imprisonment.
Analysts emphasize that such cases within the internal affairs system indicate not only personal responsibility but also the need to strengthen overall discipline. This situation highlights the importance of stricter oversight and inspection processes in state institutions.
Such incidents clearly show that the fight against drug trafficking must begin not only among citizens but also within the system itself.
