An unpleasant incident occurred in the “Shodlik” private kindergarten located in the Akaltyn district of Syrdarya region. A video circulating on social media shows two teachers forcing a child to apologize while crying. The incident caused strong public outrage, according to official sources.
According to the regional Department of Preschool and School Education, during the incident one of the teachers — N.A. — used inappropriate words toward the child and behaved in a manner contrary to pedagogical ethics. The incident was considered a violation of children’s rights and humane standards of upbringing.
Following an internal investigation, the employment contracts of both teachers were immediately terminated. Disciplinary measures were also taken against the kindergarten administration.
The department noted that this case highlighted the need to strengthen teachers’ moral responsibility and communication ethics when working with children.
A special commission is currently conducting an internal inspection at the “Shodlik” kindergarten. Officials emphasized that any actions harming a child’s dignity or emotional well-being will not be tolerated and will remain under strict supervision.
